Warranty conditions for door handles

The warranty period for the delivered products is 24 months from the date of sale subject to the following conditions:

1. Door handles are designed mainly for finished building environments. For this reason, it is advisable to install the products in the buildings only after the completion of the internal construction work.

2. We recommend installing door handles with their packaging (PE sleeve), which can be removed just before the building handover. 

3. For subsequent construction work, it is advisable to unscrew the handle or to avoid contact of the handle with abrasive particles and aggressive materials using a suitable wrapper. Do not use any chemicals or solvents for cleaning.

4. Defects in appearance and completeness of products can be claimed upon acceptance, hidden defects can be claimed in writing at any time during the warranty period.

5. In the event of an unjustified claim (improper handling, improper treatment, etc.), a handling fee of CZK 200.00 will be charged to the customer to cover the costs associated with the receipt, unpacking, packing, release and delivery of the claimed item back to the customer.

6. We do not recommend installing painted, chromed and brass handles in places where they are exposed to adverse weather conditions (excessive humidity, temperature, acidity, etc.). Due to this environment, the surface of the handles can be damaged.  Painted handles are not recommended for use in highly frequented places such as entrances to public buildings or panel houses. This is due to lower resistance of their surface treatment against mechanical damage.

7. The warranty does not cover any mechanical damage to handles.
